It’s Fall, Well Almost!

So here I am after a long Summer’s break. Picking up keyboard and computer and starting over once again. And while it’s not exactly the real season of Fall, not yet, we’re going to treat it as if it is, at least on this site. So short note to say, with fresh beginnings, you should see some revamping to our site. I will likely be moving the podcasts to another home which will allow subscriptions. So stay tuned. And thanks for bearing with us. I hate when there are lots of starts and stops. But isn’t life like that in so many ways?

Day After Spring Snow

So today we have sunshine. Yesterday we had snow showers. There were quite a few of them, however, enough to accumulate 3 inches. Of the partly slushy, partly frost filled white stuff. Spring snows are as you know, or maybe you haven’t thought about it, but they are wet and heavy. The moisture they contain is good for all the greenery and flowers. But the weight of it can become a problem and create broken tree branches, etc. Life and weather do have some similarities; first one thing and then another. It’s a good thing weather doesn’t define our days. The ups and downs of life don’t have to define us either. In the Bible, Lamentations chapter 3, verse 22 says “through the LORD’S mercies we are not consumed because his compassions fail not.” The next verse says “they are new every morning;” Let’s be defined more by God’s fresh cmercies and compassions each morning as we look to Him and greet a brand new day.
